43 hours

i have a serious case of jet lag/insomnia. slept fine on the plane, almost the whole flight! but arrived early and a bit out of it. I don't think i'd slept that long in weeks. a 7 hour stretch at least! Later had the too long crash nap that made me feel slightly better but in the end made me more tired. Got my second wind and stayed up way past my bedtime, even for Houston time. Then I was up at 6am yesterday, what is up with that? 6am! I am allergic to 6 am.

today seems to be a repeat, only this time i was awake just after 5. if i seem slightly out of it, you'll know why...


there is so much to tell, i feel like my brain is constantly writing new entries all the time back in my subconscious (or rather semi-conscious since I can tell what's going on in there). it's finding the time to sit and download them that is hard. i think of Harry Potter and Dumbledore's pensive. If only I could pull my posts out of my head in long silvery strings and load up the blog, now there's a new technology!

Ooh, but what if you picked the wrong memory? that god-awful baby shower you had to suffer through last year. traffic court. it could get out of hand real quick, The idea of friends and perfect strangers poking around in your memories of dysfunctional family gatherings and jr high romance.... hmm. maybe this selection process is better. push vs pull. just have to keep pushing...
think i'll have a nap first.
